Mites or Tiny Tigers?

This level is designed for first year players 4-7 years old who are just learning to skate and play hockey .  However, players’ abilities vary greatly and it is not unusual to have players of these ages at other Mite levels.  At the Tiny Tigers level, hockey is purely instructional. Development of skills and having fun are the main goals. Tiny Tiger practice times are one day per weekend and there are no scheduled games or travel.

If your child has completed 1-2 seasons of Tiny Tigers and is entering Kindergarten, consider registering for our Mite program. Mites targets developing hockey skills and improving skating skills, all while exposing them to a team atmosphere with weekly hockey games.

COST $50 for 9 Sessions

EQUIPMENT:
PYHA has limited full sets of equipment, skates and helmets available for players to use during the season. Equipment will be checked out to families on a first come first serve basis and will require a $200 deposit check that will be returned when equipment is returned. For any equipment not turned in at the end of the season, the player will be assessed full replacement cost. Player jerseys will be provided by PYHA. Players supply their own black "hockey socks" for over shin pads from local or online sporting goods retailers.

Email dylan.sweeny@princetonyouthhockey.com or jeremy.uhrich@princetonyouthhockey.com for questions regarding equipment.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:
Hockey skates, hockey helmet, neck guard, shin pads, elbow pads, hockey breezers, shoulder pads, mouth guard, hockey gloves, and a hockey stick are required.
