How Princeton Ice Arena & PYHA Gives Back Through Community Support

At Princeton Ice Arena, we believe our mission extends far beyond the rink. Through our Pass the Puck & Community Give Back initiative, we are committed to creating meaningful opportunities for youth, families, and the greater Princeton community.

A significant part of making this possible comes through the responsible use of our charitable gambling proceeds, which allow us to reinvest directly back into programs, events, and community support efforts that make a lasting impact.

Funds generated help us support initiatives that strengthen our community, including:

• Free community events that bring families together, such as our annual Community Block Party, Bike Rodeo & Safety Day, and other family-focused events
• Youth development opportunities that teach leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and community service
• Community service campaigns that encourage our athletes and families to volunteer, give back, and actively support local causes
• Donations and sponsorships that assist local organizations, community efforts, and individuals in need
• Future senior scholarship opportunities for graduating student-athletes who demonstrate strong leadership, sportsmanship, academic commitment, and community involvement
• Programs and initiatives that help make skating and hockey more accessible to families in our community

These funds allow us to host events at little or no cost to the public, support charitable initiatives, and invest in programs that benefit local youth and families.
